Cary + Christina

When you're blessed with wonderful light, the bluest sky you can dream of, Chicago, and Cary + Christina - you just can't go wrong. Cary, a musician and my husband's rockin' cousin, will be tying the knot with the lovely Christina next April. We had a great time exploring and fooling around - I'm looking forward to the wedding!!

Trisha + Jeff

While in Des Moines last weekend I had the honor of shooting for my best friend Trisha. Trisha and Jeff are getting married next July in Minneapolis. Since they didn't think I could be the Matron of Honor and the Photographer - I don't know why!! They asked if I would shoot their engagement session - OF COURSE!! I was so happy we were able to share this special time together.

Megan + Tyler :: Des Moines Wedding Photography

This past weekend I was out in Des Moines, IA. I had the honor of capturing one of my great friends and former college roomie Megan tie the knot with her loving new husband Tyler. We had unbelievable fall weather for an outdoor ceremony at the Salisbury House followed by a fun-filled reception at Hotel Fort Des Moines. I just loved how happy and excited Megan was at the salon and can we get a load of these adorable flower girls!!

Dusty

When I heard from Galen and Adrian wanting to do a shoot for their dog Dusty I was excited to have a new kind of subject. Every once and a while I get to hang out with pets and create some pretty fun images. This session was no different - Dusty did a great job and I think he had fun too! He even made a 4 foot jump from the ground up to a loading dock - not quite the safest way to get up there - but it was impressive!

Gianni

Baby Gianni is so precious. I loved how content he was just hanging out. We had fun laughing over silly baby habits and shooting around the studio. I look forward to another shoot in a few months once he masters some fun facial expressions.
