Patricia + Bill

I had such a wonderful time shooting with Patricia and Bill this past Sunday. After suggesting a few location ideas for them to choose from they choose Union Station and ran with it. Their wardrobe selection immediately gave me a classic vibe and I just loved the energy they brought to the shoot. Their wedding is soon approaching this March - can't wait!

Emily + Geoff :: Chicago Engagement Session

Last Saturday we were graced with 70 degrees and although I didn't have a wedding I was glad to be enjoying the awesome weather with Emily and Geoff for their engagement session. We hit up a variety of locations allowing me to capture their fun-loving personalities. The afternoon was filled with "paddling," air guitar, dance moves on the pier, impromptu leaves fight, all ending at Sheffield's where these two originally met. Thanks again for a great shoot and I can't wait for more fun moments next Summer at the wedding!!

Laura + Grant :: Chicago Engagement Session

Laura and Grant were a pleasure to hang out with for their engagement session last week. I just loved the little off beat locations we found and hit a gold mine with an overgrown wall bursting with fall colors/textures. I'm really looking forward to their special day coming up in a few short weeks!!

Esther + Eugene

This past weekend I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Esther and Eugene for their engagement session. With Fall being Esther's favorite season (and mine too) Busse Woods Forest Preserve in Schaumburg/Elk Grove Village was the perfect location. Thanks for a fun filled session and I can't wait for some snow portraits in January on the big day!

Alexis + Sean

Sunday morning was perfect for Alexis and Sean's engagement session. We took a stroll around the Loop visiting some special spots for them, as well as, some of my favorite "Big City" backdrops. I'm looking forward to shooting with you two again in May - it will be here before we know it!

Carissa + Mark

Carissa and Mark will be tying the knot with their toes nestled in the warm sandy beaches of Florida - so an engagement session in the city was the perfect choice to remember their Chicago engagement. Best wishes to your new family and I hope our paths cross again soon!

Irene + Joshua

Last week I met up with Irene and Joshua for their romantic engagement session. The two chose to shoot around dusk so we could take full advantage of the glistening lights in Grant Park and down Michigan Avenue. It's not all the time I get to shoot at dusk/evening outside so it was fun for me to try new things. I'll be looking forward to working with these two again next spring for their intimate wedding at The James.

John + Jody

When I was out Monday with John and Jody I swear we were in the middle of fall - the weather was beautiful, the light was glowing and at one point it looked as if some trees were already turning. I can't believe how fast summer has flown by!! It's hard to miss the love and devotion these two have for each other. Their excitement and happiness was beaming throughout our entire tour of Morton Arboretum. I am really looking forward to their big day - I just know it will be overflowing with wonderful heartfelt moments!

Jenn + Rick

I had a gorgeous lake side stroll with Jenn and Rick last week for their engagement session. We headed out from Grant Park to Northerly Island finding some great spots along the way. I'm crossing my fingers for the same amazing weather on their big day this October! See you guys in a few weeks!!

Art + Liz

Last week I met up with Art and Liz for their engagement session in Naperville. We had a lot of fun exploring the river walk and playing with the gorgeous light. Thanks for being such troopers in the afternoon heat. I'm really looking forward to shooting with the two of you again next summer for the big day!

Cynthia + Anthony

I had a lot of fun getting to know Cynthia and Anthony last week. The two of them really love Chicago Architecture so we took a little walking tour of the Museum Campus and Union Station. They were so comfortable in front of the camera which made it easy for me to capture their love for each other. I was also able to try some new things - even shot in the parking garage! Thanks for going along with my crazy ideas - you guys did great! Looking forward to shooting together again on the big day in September.

Stephanie + Jeremy

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with Stephanie and Jeremy in downtown Naperville. Besides the CRAZY HEAT we had a fun time chatting and discovering some unique spots along the riverwalk. After a lot of sweat, water, ice cream, and a news briefing we ended up at their first date spot for some drinks and food. It was a great session and I'm looking forward to the trek to Rockford for their wedding in October.

AHP Hits the Road

My husband and I will soon be venturing out for our annual Colorado trip and this year we're welcoming sessions along the way!! Our journey is set to begin July 17th from Chicago to Denver. We'll then be in the Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Steamboat circle for about 2 weeks. We'd love to meet up for family lifestyle sessions, engagement sessions, or bridal sessions!
