Christine and her son Cormick were treated to a photo session with me from their loving mom/grandmother Peggy. I was so happy to capture this special time as their family grows. Their love and excitement was contagious - giving me much inspiration to create these images. Here are a few of my favs:

Lily Ann

Last weekend my husband and I spent a little time with Amy and Rich - you may remember me shooting their Labor Day wedding in 2008. Well they've added a new little one to the mix and I couldn't resist sharing a few images of Lily Ann from our impromptu photo shoot. Enjoy!

Jenny :: Maternity Session

I have known Jenny since Middle School and although we have lost touch over the past couple of years I couldn't have been happier to capture her love and excitement during this special time. It was also a great opportunity to meet her husband Mike and pups Dutch!

Meet Baby Noah!

Portraits have been off the hook lately - so many that I haven't been able to keep up with them on the blog. I'll be sure to do a recap once everything settles down. Although I couldn't miss the opportunity to introduce you to baby Noah! Our good friend Meghann VanderBaan of Blush & Bashful Event Boutique and her loving husband Kabe welcomed their adorable baby boy on 9/24/09. I had my first visit with them last week - congrats!!

1+1=3

I was so glad to have received Nadia's phone call trying to squeeze in a maternity session within just a few days. We were able to pull it together and wow did they do GREAT! It was such a fun shoot for me to get creative and capture this exciting time in their lives.

Girls Weekend with Susan and Christine

Some of you may remember these two fun women from last year - I was asked by Susan to capture her surprising her best friend Christine with a pampered girls weekend. This year Christine knew I was coming but it was still filled with excitement! I loved being a part of their special weekend filled with letting loose, catching up, and relaxing. These two have such a great outlook on their lives and a contagious feeling of freedom. Now that I have been initiated into their girls weekend with a cosmo - I can't wait to shoot them again next year!

AHP Hits the Road

My husband and I will soon be venturing out for our annual Colorado trip and this year we're welcoming sessions along the way!! Our journey is set to begin July 17th from Chicago to Denver. We'll then be in the Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Steamboat circle for about 2 weeks. We'd love to meet up for family lifestyle sessions, engagement sessions, or bridal sessions! Carter's 6mo.

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the Hennessy Family. It was fun to capture all of Carter's expressions. For the second half of the session we ventured up to Carter's room which was beautifully painted by his grandmother who's a wonderful watercolor artist here in the West Loop! Debi's 80's Bash!

Our friends over at A Perfect Event sure pulled off a SWEET 80's Bash for their very own Debi Lilly. Every detail was of course 80's including arcade games, delicious appetizers and deserts circa 1980's, staff was dressed in black T-shirts with famous 80's sayings, guests played in the photo booth, zebra prints with hot pink/orange, music videos playing behind the bar, Spiked Tang was flowing, and what 80's party would be complete without guests dressing as their favorite 80's characters!! The gorgeous Skylight Studio was a photographer's dream to shoot at - check out some of Debi's details:

Reagan Family

I had a great shoot this past Sunday with the Reagan Family at Dusable Harbor downtown. The greatest thing about my lifestyle sessions is creating something personal for my clients. Picking a unique location specific to your family allows me to not only capture your family at this moment in time but also captures the memories you have of that location - double duty!

Alison + Tom

Last week I had the pleasure of sharing some time with Alison and Tom - along with their beautiful animals. We had a gorgeous afternoon out at the barn. I am very much looking forward to capturing their special day this coming weekend - here's to hoping we are blessed with the same warm weather.
