Sarah + Mike :: Museum of Contemporary Art MCA :: Chicago Wedding

Sarah and Mike had a great day at the MCA. The two of them are such a thoughtful laid back couple. They kept their guests warm with heaters for the outdoor ceremony and also with the love they have for each other and their families. (OK I admit that was a little cheesy, but really!!) Meghann from Blush and Bashful Event Boutique kept the ball rolling on time all day and the Matt Reed Band rocked the night away with all everyone's favorite hits. I had a wonderful time meeting everyone and capturing all the excitement as these two tied the knot. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. HAPPY EARTH DAY!!

The Kramer girls were so fun to meet this past Sunday. We spent some time playing outside then ventured indoors to meet the newest arrival. Melissa (mom) and I were trying our best to get the little one to spare a smile...and in comes the sisters who get her to smile in seconds! It's amazing how recognizable a sisterly touch can be. Thanks for a great session girls, I hope to work with you again soon!

Jenny + Michael :: The Hyatt Lodge :: Oak Brook Wedding Photography

It was such a pleasure to be a part of Jenny and Michael's day this past weekend. We lucked out and dodged the sprinkles, the sun even came out to give a few blessings. Everyone involved in the day was so fun to work with. We met up with Jenny and Michael at St. Isaac Jogues Church in Hinsdale then make a stop at Graue Mill for portraits, ending the night at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook. Mary from Toast and Jam kept the dance floor jumping all through the wee hours. Thanks again for letting me capture all the fun moments!

Adler Planetarium + Food For Thought

Last night the Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum along with Food For Thought Catered Event Concepts hosted a Private Events Open House. Industry leaders gathered to network, catch up and experience first hand new design concepts for private events. All aspects of the event from design and music to flowers and food were donated by the top vendors here in Chicago. One of the outdoor tents was designed by A Perfect Event. I met up with the designers as they were setting up to grab some detail shots for Debi, Kelsey, and the rest of their dynamite team. The event had a great turnout and it was fun to take part in such a wonderful kick off to the event season. Here are some of my favorite shots from A Perfect Event's tent.
