Stephanie + Jeremy

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with Stephanie and Jeremy in downtown Naperville. Besides the CRAZY HEAT we had a fun time chatting and discovering some unique spots along the riverwalk. After a lot of sweat, water, ice cream, and a news briefing we ended up at their first date spot for some drinks and food. It was a great session and I'm looking forward to the trek to Rockford for their wedding in October.

AHP Hits the Road

My husband and I will soon be venturing out for our annual Colorado trip and this year we're welcoming sessions along the way!! Our journey is set to begin July 17th from Chicago to Denver. We'll then be in the Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Steamboat circle for about 2 weeks. We'd love to meet up for family lifestyle sessions, engagement sessions, or bridal sessions! Kelly + Marcos

Feeling HOT HOT HOT. Kelly and Marcos were such troopers this past Monday in the 95 degree afternoon heat. We had a lot of fun exploring the West Loop and Lincoln Park. Their wedding in August will be so fun - hoping we're blessed with the same amazing light!

Jane + Ryan

WHOA THERE RAIN - Jane and Ryan dodged the monsoons like nobody's business! As many of you Chicagoans know Friday was a little crazy in the weather department. Nonetheless their day was filled with family, friends, traditions, and tons of smiles! Jane and Ryan's ceremony took place at St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church followed by a rockin reception at the Westin Chicago North Shore. Thanks again for being such troopers in the 90 degree monsoon weather!

Sara + Adam :: Rockford Country Club Wedding

This past weekend we ventured out to Rockford and managed to dodge the rain for a fabulous day with Sara and Adam. The day was filled with love from family - one of my favorite quotes from the day had to be during toasts when it was announced there was officially more Derry's in the Carlson family then Carlsons (the Carlson sisters married the Derry brothers) needless to say this family is so close which lead to many fun moments throughout the day. Toward the end of the night Sara and Adam had a special surprise up their sleeves for their adorable niece who turned "1" on the big day! Reception: Rockford Country Club

Joe + Masami :: Green Dolphin Street Wedding :: Chicago

The blue skies came out for Joe and Masami's big day May 30th. They had a wonderful ceremony and reception at Green Dolphin Street. It was a pleasure working with such a laid back crowd and I am so glad these two found me all the way from Cali. Best wishes and I hope we cross paths again soon.

Carter's 6mo.

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the Hennessy Family. It was fun to capture all of Carter's expressions. For the second half of the session we ventured up to Carter's room which was beautifully painted by his grandmother who's a wonderful watercolor artist here in the West Loop! Alison + Tom

I had a wonderful memorial day weekend wedding with Alison and Tom. They were blessed with the most beautiful weather which completed their intimate garden reception. We started off the day at St. Anne's in Barrington for the ceremony - the light flooding in around them was just perfect. The garden reception was held at Alison and Tom's home - where they do all the gardening themselves - I loved how they were able to incorporate their passion for gardening/nature into their special day. Don't forget to check out Alison's amazing dress - designed custom by Chicago's own Alice Padrul.
