Cynthia + Anthony

Cynthia and Anthony had a special day filled with family, friends, tradition, and lots of love. I must say their ceremony was rockin' at Calvary Christian Learning Center in Lake Villa. We then ventured off to the Moraine Hills State Park for some fun relaxed portraits amongst the beautiful prairie. The evening concluded with a yummy reception at Round Lake Cultural & Civic Center (catering by: Pear Tree Catering).

Irene + Joshua

Last week I met up with Irene and Joshua for their romantic engagement session. The two chose to shoot around dusk so we could take full advantage of the glistening lights in Grant Park and down Michigan Avenue. It's not all the time I get to shoot at dusk/evening outside so it was fun for me to try new things. I'll be looking forward to working with these two again next spring for their intimate wedding at The James.

John + Jody

When I was out Monday with John and Jody I swear we were in the middle of fall - the weather was beautiful, the light was glowing and at one point it looked as if some trees were already turning. I can't believe how fast summer has flown by!! It's hard to miss the love and devotion these two have for each other. Their excitement and happiness was beaming throughout our entire tour of Morton Arboretum. I am really looking forward to their big day - I just know it will be overflowing with wonderful heartfelt moments!

1+1=3

I was so glad to have received Nadia's phone call trying to squeeze in a maternity session within just a few days. We were able to pull it together and wow did they do GREAT! It was such a fun shoot for me to get creative and capture this exciting time in their lives.

Jenn + Rick

I had a gorgeous lake side stroll with Jenn and Rick last week for their engagement session. We headed out from Grant Park to Northerly Island finding some great spots along the way. I'm crossing my fingers for the same amazing weather on their big day this October! See you guys in a few weeks!!
